Max the office dog has been an employee of Dogs Today magazine for the past five years. He was rescued from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in October 2002 and since then has become a well-known face both in the magazine and also as the logo for the Wag and Bone Show. Despite his recent retirement to the Norfolk countryside, he still has many adventures.

Down on the farm
Max spent an afternoon with the animals from the Hillside Animal Sanctuary in Frettenham, Norfolk. All of the animals were there because they had been rescued from cruel situations. I think they appreciated a visit from Max, even though he was generally uninterested in them.

The big woolly sheep and Jessica the goat were desperate for some Max love, but he's very picky who he gives his love to.
